Pru Life UK leader named PLIA education committee head

Her appointment underscores her longstanding commitment to advancing financial literacy and professional development within the life insurance industry.

In her new role, Katindoy will lead the Association’s education initiatives, strengthening industry standards and supporting the continuous development of life insurance professionals across the country. She brings with her extensive experience in training, curriculum development and strategic partnerships, having championed numerous learning programmes through PRUAcademy.

Her appointment coincides with her participation as a panelist at the Financial Education Stakeholders’ Congress held at the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas headquarters. The congress convened key stakeholders from the public and private sectors to discuss collaborative strategies for improving financial education and inclusion nationwide.

During the panel discussion, Katindoy shared insights on the role of the life insurance sector in equipping Filipinos with the knowledge and tools to make informed financial decisions. She highlighted the importance of sustained collaboration among regulators, industry leaders, and educators to build a more financially resilient nation.
